Foundations of Law powered by the EU Horizon Twinning Project “ALF -Advancing Cooperation on the Foundations of Law”
The Foundations of Law blog (FOL) is originally dedicated to communicating and disseminating research outputs elaborated within the ALF Project, but it also features content produced by international invited guests and experts from diverse fields related to legal theory and philosophy. It features short thematic posts about specific topics or research outputs, as well as published research reviews, transcriptions of episodes of the Heavily Accented Philosophy of Law podcast (HAPL), notice and description of short video lessons, and much more.
The primary aims of Foundations of Law are: (1) to make the ALF Project’s research openly and easily accessible to scholars and scientific communities from different fields of study and from all around the globe, as well as to jurists in a wide sense and the general public; and (2) to create a global forum of scholarly debate on foundational pillars of law, specifically including (but not necessarily limited to) logic, law, and practical rationality.
All the published written content has been reviewed by FOL’s editors, in particular the Chief Director, and it is published in Open Access under the under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY).
